Commuter Challenge, June 5-11
Bike, Walk, Bus, Carpool or Roll to Anywhere, Anytime
This friendly competition between cities and workplaces celebrates sustainable and active ways of commuting. Workplaces and residents in Belleville and Quinte West are encouraged to give up their car and make a commitment to at least one trip by foot, bike, transit or carpool from June 5th – 11th. All participants will be entered to win fantastic prizes donated by local organizations. See the Quinte Region Commuter Challenge rules for details.

#BOQBikes Contest, June 1 – 30
Take a picture of your bike at any Bay of Quinte landmark and post it to Facebook or Twitter using #BOQBikes. Every post will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a new bicycle courtesy of Ideal Bike. Please follow these contest rules to be eligible to win.

Bike to Work Breakfast, June 3rd from 7:30-9:30 am at Market Square
Bike to work June 3th and eat pancakes in return! Let’s gather downtown for a free healthy pancake breakfast to celebrate everyone who has enjoyed biking as a sustainable form of commuting on Bike to Work Day. You don’t have to be going to work, just show up on two wheels.
Pedalpalooza, June 18, West Riverside Park

All children 12 and under who participate in the Bike Rodeo will receive a $10 voucher toward a YMCA of CEO day camp.

Bike to the Future Ride & Mingle June 10, meet at Market Square at 6:00 pm
Let’s take tour of Belleville’s future cycling network. Belleville on Bikes will lead you through the streets identified in the City’s Cycling Network Implementation Plan. The ride will end with fun and camaraderie at Ideal Bike.
Mayor’s Ride, June 18, 9:00 am at Market Square
Join Mayor Taso Christopher and members of City Council on a ride through the Friendly City. The ride will end at West Riverside Park in time to enjoy the festivities at Pedal Palooza.
Glow Ride June 24, 8:30 pm at Market Square
Have you ever pictured a parade of glow-in-the-dark bikes riding along the Bay of Quinte? Well now you have! Bring your family, friends, bikes and plenty of glow sticks and lights for a joy ride around town with the folks from Belleville On Bikes. It’s just that simple!
